Cetatea de Baltă Storage facility

Location: Alba county, approximately 12km SW of Târnăveni town

Year of commissioning: 2002

Maximum technical capacities of the storage facility were:
► storage - 30 mil. m3/cycle;
► withdrawal - 0.1 mil. m3/day.

Starting with January 1st 2019, DEPOGAZ has ceased the underground storage activity for natural gas at Cetatea de Balta UGS.

The Cetatea de Balta UGS was handed over to SNGN ROMGAZ SA – Medias Gas Production Branch to resume the  gas production activity in the commercial reservoir.
